Dear me,
Please start getting up at a decent hour. The way you sleep in all the time is really stuffing up my body clock and it's getting to the stage where staying awake during the day is becoming harder and harder.
Also, please start eating more regularly. We are trying to grow a baby here! No, that doesn't include regular snacking on Tim Tams and gummi worms. Cravings are understandable, but going to McDonalds three times last week is bordering on ridiculous.
What's this wearing PJ's until midday thing all about? I know you like to relax, but when friends show up and you're still padding around in flannelette, it's embarrassing!
Be nicer to the cats. They're only trying to be friendly when they're nudging you with their head, and back to the sleeping in thing, it's really not asking too much to get up at 7am to feed them and let them out for the day. You'd be doing us both a favour if you started running on kitty time.
Don't blame your husband for spending all the money when you do exactly the same thing given half the chance. I'm sure you noticed how quickly that massive pay you got the other week just disappeared in a flash. But thank you for not buying those shoes I noticed you eyeing off. Well done!
When the washing is dry, bring it in. It gets stiff if you leave it out for more than a few days and loses that freshly washed smell, not to mention it was nearly dry when it rained but you couldn't be bothered getting it as the weather turned bad.
Thanks!
Me
Yeah I'm in a weird mood today, and felt like posting something silly. It's one of those days where you feel at a loose end about what exactly you should be doing. Do I go out? Stay at home and watch tv? Cook lunch or grab an instant noodles? In the above letter to myself I mentioned some things that I've been doing lately that's annoying me and starting to become bad habits, so I thought I'd write it down so I can look back and think about it all. By the way, the job I've got nursing at the local nursing home? Totally in love with it! Granted longer shifts in the dementia wing leave alot to be desired but hey, it's work, and I'm finally doing what I studied so hard for 18 months ago.
Anyhoo, I'm going to go put some warmer clothes on. The snow they've been predicting feels like it's going to arrive soon!
